چکیده

We compare the behavior of fiber bundles with structure group G for G the general linear group GL, the projective general linear group PGL, and the general affine group GA. We prove a criterion for when a GA-bundle is in fact a GL-bundle, i.e., a vector bundle, over the Riemann sphereP1. We also discuss the behavior of fiber bundles under different topologies; specifically, we compare the analytic versus Zariski topologies over the Riemann sphere P1, and compare the étale and Zariski topologies on schemes in general.

Computing the equivariant Euler characteristic of Zariski and étale sheaves on curves

We prove an equivariant Grothendieck-Ogg-Shafarevich formula. This formula may be viewed as an étale analogue of well-known formulas for Zariski sheaves which were proved by Ellingsrud/Lønsted and Nakajima and for which we give a new approach in this paper. Fiber bundles and Lie algebras of top spaces

In this paper, by using of Frobenius theorem a relation between Lie subalgebras of the Lie algebra of a top space T and Lie subgroups of T(as a Lie group) is determined. As a result we can consider these spaces by their Lie algebras. We show that a top space with the finite number of identity elements is a C^{∞} principal fiber bundle, by this method we can characterize top spaces.

Analytic Zariski structures, predimensions and non-elementary stability

The notion of an analytic Zariski structure was introduced in [1] by the author and N.Peatfield in a form slightly different from the one presented here. Analytic Zariski generalises the previously known notion of a Zariski structure (see [2] for one-dimensional case and [3], [4] for the general definition) mainly by dropping the requirement of Noetherianity and weakening the assumptions on the...

Inverse topology in BL-algebras

In this paper, we introduce Inverse topology in a BL-algebra A and prove the set of all minimal prime filters of A, namely Min(A) with the Inverse topology is a compact space, Hausdorff, T0  and T1-Space. Then, we show that Zariski topology on Min(A) is finer than the Inverse topology on Min(A). Then, we investigate what conditions may result in the equivalence of these two topologies. Finally,...

Analytic Zariski Structures and Non-elementary Categoricity

We study analytic Zariski structures from the point of view of non-elementary model theory. We show how to associate an abstract elementary class with a one-dimensional analytic Zariski structure and prove that the class is stable, quasi-minimal and homogeneous over models. We also demonstrate how Hrushovski’s predimension arises in this general context as a natural geometric notion and use it ...
